Modernistic Family's French bulldog Stella dies soon after filming series finale
The ambrosial family pet was played by a dog named Beatrice. It has played the role since flavour four.

The dog that played Stella in the striking TV show Modernistic Family unit died just equally the show is coming to the stop of its xi-season run.
Co-ordinate to The Blast on Mon (Mar 16), citing sources familiar to the situation, the pet thespian named Beatrice died shortly subsequently filming the series finale on Feb 21.
Beatrice took over the role of Stella from another dog named Brigitte in season four. Stella was get-go introduced in the season two episode Good Cop Bad Dog when Jay Pritchett reluctantly gets a dog.
Ed O'Neill, who plays Jay, has been known to shower Beatrice with love both on and off camera. Beatrice's owners Guin and Steve Solomon told the blog Bodie on the Route in 2017: "Ed O'Neill is in dear with her! It's very easy working with him because he brings Beatrice treats like popcorn and always looks out for her."
They added: "We'll be doing scenes in the lawn by the puddle and in between takes he'll say, 'Would y'all delight get Beatrice an umbrella, she's in the sun!'"
Co-ordinate to her owners, Beatrice was widely loved by others in the crew too, who would honey to play with her when she was out and about on set.
Beatrice had appeared in other productions including Tv serial Workaholics and The Kominsky Method, and commercials for Dunkin' Donuts and Hunt Depository financial institution.
With the evidence coming to a close later on a successful 11 seasons, the cast of Mod Family shared their goodbyes, with Vergara posting a video on Instagram of the cast and crew singing on set.
She wrote: "What a day!! Saying bye to our Modern Family unit"
Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who plays Mitchell, told Amusement Tonight: "In that location'south a cracking liberty that comes with finishing upwardly an 11-year run of something artistically. I can practise whatsoever I want to practise. Just the reality of the state of affairs is we all really beloved each other."
He continued: "When August comes effectually and it's a time that nosotros would be going back to piece of work after our summer hiatus, I think we're all gonna feel a void."
The serial finale of Modern Family unit is set to air in Apr.
